Jack Burnett
Jack got into mountain biking at 19, looking for a fun fitness alternative to running, and it’s been his passion for over 30 years now. What keeps him hooked? The thrill of being in the moment and the special connection he feels to trails he’s helped design. There’s just something awesome about ripping around on paths he’s put together himself.
Jack’s competitive side has led to some big accomplishments—like taking 2nd overall at the 2024 Downhill Southeast and 3rd at the 2024 National Championships. But honestly, nothing beats seeing his family out there racing too.
This season, Jack’s aiming to push harder than ever. Long-term, he’s all about staying healthy so he can keep riding and racing for as long as possible.
Sponsorship has been a huge help, covering some of the costs of racing and letting Jack support younger riders as they find their way in the sport. Off the bike, he’s all about self-improvement and loves spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Jack lives by the motto “one step at a time” and is active in the mountain biking community through coaching and social media. He believes there’s room for everyone in the sport and wishes more people would be welcoming to newcomers.
With some skills in content creation, Jack connects with other bikers online, using social media to share his love for the sport and spread his values around inclusivity, trail conservation, and keeping the biking world diverse and open.
