Decker Burnett

Meet Decker, a 17-year-old mountain biking enthusiast from Northeast Georgia, who has been riding bikes since the age of 4. Inspired by his dad, a fellow mountain biker, Decker found his true passion in the thrill and challenge of downhill riding by the time he was 10. He trains rigorously at Windrock Park, a place he considers his second home, perfecting his skills and working on his suspension.

Despite a string of tough luck in 2024, Decker’s racing résumé boasts some impressive early accomplishments, like snagging 4th place at the Trials Training Center in 2023 and a respectable 12th in 2024. His goals are set high as he aims to surpass his past performances daily and dreams of competing and making a mark in the World Cup standings.

Off the trails, Decker is just as dynamic, dabbling in kayaking and staying active around his community. He’s also stepping into the world of videography, with a little help from his mom, who captures the thrilling moments of his races. Active on social media, Decker uses his platform to engage with fans and promote diversity within the sport, striving to make everyone feel welcomed and included in the biking community.

Decker’s philosophy is simple: always strive to be better and faster than the last time, whether on the bike or during his workouts. With aspirations of securing sponsorship to propel his ambitions further, Decker is not just riding trails—he’s paving his own path to success.
